Giants Face Mission Impossible

Once the Iggles got eliminated from the playoffs, I figure out which teams I would hate to see win a Super Bowl the most, and root against them. This year having Dallas in the Playoffs made them public enemy number one. So going against everything that I usually stand for, I actually pulled for the G-Men. As we all know the Cowboys choked it up in the little game, but then the unthinkable occurred.....

An NFL Kid Grows Up

Well, as I expected the Pats have made it to The Super Bowl for the fourth in time in seven years. What I didn’t expect was to be sitting here today talking about how they would have to game plan against Eli Manning and the Giants! That’s right – the G-Men, Big Blue if you like. Wow!

I know everything has been about New England this year and rightly so. From the very first game when they .....

Iron Eagle To Hang It Up?

Derrick Gunn dropped another bomb yesterday, as he reported that there will be a Philadelphia Eagle that will not return next season, and the Eagles are unaware of it. He would not give up the name(as he ‘promised the player he wouldn’t'), but there is a ton of speculation that the player is Eagles Offensive Tackle Jon Runyan.

Runyan has been the Eagles Iron Man, and has not missed a game since.....

Da Bears Still Suck

It’s official. The Eagles are now eliminated from the playoffs. The stinkin Bears lost to the Minnesota Vikings, and that ends this disappointing season. Brian URLAKKERZZ played great, but the Bears offense QB sucks a big fat one. He had Bernard Berrian open for the game winning touch down, but of course he under threw it throwing off balance like a goofball. Darren Sharper intercepted the pass, a.....

Shut The Forehead Up

I hate side line reporters. Why do TV networks even have them? All they do is usually report garbage information, that the announcers could easily say themselves. They are basically wanna be news anchors. I now hate one side line reporter in particular, because of her fake report on Donovan McNabb. Pam “Gigantic Forehead” Oliver is the culprit, and here is what she had to say:

“Donovan really s.....

Eagles Goal: Ruin Boys' Season

The Eagles season is all but over. They are 5-8, and are only technically still in the playoff picture. McNabb has been coming back from a devastating knee injury, Andy Reid has dealt with off season problems, and the Eagles have just not had a good season. This Sunday the Eagles travel to Dallas to face the 12-1 Cowboys who blew them out earlier this year. Dallas is clearly the better team right n.....

Mock Draft Time

Since this season is a wash, I thought I would post an early mock draft. In this 2 round mock, Rivals.com has the Iggles taking two blue chippers.

12. Philadelphia (5-8)
The Pick: Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma*
The Buzz: The Eagles are looking to stretch the field with a blue-chip receiver.

43. Philadelphia
The Pick: Ali Highsmith, LB, LSU
The Buzz: The Eagles love this blue-chip defender .....

Andy Reid is Delusional

In his normal day after the game disaster press conference, Andy Reid usually nulls people to sleep with his usual sayings of ‘we’ve got to do a better job there’, and ‘I’ve got to put my guys in a better position to succeed’.In today’s PC Andy Reid said something that shocked me.

“One of the great things about this is we’re still in striking distance with three games left,” Reid said.

Strik.....

Season Over

It was your typical Eagles-Giants game. This was a dogfight until the very end. The Birds were finally healthy, and needed to win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

The Birds opening drive was executed near perfection. Every play turned into positive yards, and the Eagles quickly marched down the field. The drive was capped off with an 18 yard touch down reception to Brian Westbrook.

Backs Against The Wall

Ten weeks ago time the Eagles faced the Giants, and the Birds offense was a disaster. Donovan McNabb was sacked twelve times. Second year offensive tackle Winston Justice got abused by Osi Umenyiora, who had six sacks himself. The Giants blitzed often, and brought tremendous pressure all game. McNabb accidentally fumbled the ball, when he bumped into fullback Thomas Tapeh. The Giants capitalized b.....

Racial Tensions In The U.S. At Ridiculous Levels

It is always a difficult task when one approaches the subject of racism in this country. Because of the still very controversial issue, one can be seen as having a racist attitude by writing about it or talking about. Let’s put that to rest first. This article is in no way intended to cast aspersions on any race or to place one race as more important or more intelligent or more relevant. It is.....

Feeley Throws Season Away

Everybody’s favorite backup QB was a disaster against Seattle. His first pass was intercepted, and so was his last. Overall Feeley finished the game with 4 INTs, and has 7 in his two starts this season. He was just absolutely brutal, and everybody in Feeleydelphia was wrong. He is not a better option than McNabb, and never will be.

Feeley’s first two interceptions led to Seattle touch downs, an.....
